In the boondocks of Mexico, while on a field trip inspecting"Aloe Vera" plants in 1966, we noted that the Roadrunner had developed a habit of pecking holes in only some of the Aloe Vera plants. By separating the chemical components of the Aloe Vera leaf, we were able to tell that the plants singled out by the Roadrunner were indeed different than ones he had not chosen.
Quite by accident, we noticed that the feces of Guinea Pigs fed from the "Roadrunner Aloe" was different in texture and color. Further investigation revealed why! It was directly attributable to an improvement in their digestive process. We immediately started raising the roadrunner plant in 1967 and today grow and process ONLY this particular Aloe Vera Plant.
